The front nine of Baha Mar’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Royal Blue golf course features dramatic views of undulating fairways and rolling white sand dunes. The back-nine transports you to limestone “moonscapes” and elevation changes, making Royal Blue a stunning golf course to see — and a thrilling challenge to play. Each morning our grounds crew place tee locations on the Royal Blue course according to the changing Nassau, The Bahamas weather and playing conditions, ensuring a unique experience each time you play.

The Nassau Straw Market, located on Bay Street in downtown Nassau, is a vibrant shopping destination offering handmade Bahamian crafts, souvenirs, and gifts, such as straw hats, bags, conch shell jewelry, and wood carvings, at affordable prices—especially if you're skilled at negotiating.

Historically, straw crafts originated in the early 1940s, when Bahamians used plaiting and weaving for practical purposes like baskets and fishing traps. After World War II, these crafts became popular souvenirs among tourists.

Today, the Straw Market is a bustling hub with vendors selling a wide variety of items, including local treats and affordable brand-name goods.
